Large Family Home
This 1950's house was in dire need of extending and renovating - it had small windows, boxy rooms and a badly designed kitchen with the main stairwell in the middle of it - which meant the house was not pleasant to live in.
A modern, contemporary interior with a fresh colour palette was asked for. Quality tactile curtain fabrics were used along with a variety of materials and colours throughout the house that ensured it felt spacious and welcoming.
A purpose designed built in study area ensured that all family members were catered for - allowing for 2 people to sit at the large desk and work alongside each other.
Refer to the separate residential architectural project page for details about the major architectural changes that were undertaken.
