Astra Print Factory re-fit and relocation.
Encompass ideas designed, project managed and staged the complete factory and office are fitout of Astra Print's new premises on a very tight budget which was strictly adhered to.
A new mezzanine floor, docutech suites, pre-press work areas and administration offices were constructed and clad in corrugated iron sheets with large steel sliding doors. Orange stained plywood clad in the existing columns.
A 2000m2 suspended ceiling was fitted to the factory along with specialist grinding, leveling and coating of the entire floor area.
A hazardous goods store and mini-substation room were also designed and built. The many specialist consultants and contractors involved were supplied by us.
A new reception counter with innovative backpainted graphics on the glass frontage and custom designed furniture was designed and supplied by us. The reception area walls were clad in blonded plywood carrying on the textural theme whilst being a practical solution for all the knocks and scrapes that occur on the walls in an office/factory environment.
