This client required a new Wellington Region ITS Centre.
The client brief for this building was that it was not to be too much like the houses and commercial buildings surrounding it and had to have an interest factor - which is shown in the curved roof structure and the cantilevered upper level building. It was to be constructed of easy care, low maintenance materials.
A carpark is located on top of the lower level structure (Technology room) which is recessed into the hillside.
Encompass Ideas have designed computer rooms, software to operate CCTV systems, software development and general IT services such as: data networking, telephony and tender management
Encompass Ideas provided the technology and design expertise and managed this project throughout the tendering and construction phases.
